My husband was out of town. Again. Sometimes I felt like a single Mom, raising my two kids without a husband present. He made great money, but sometimes I felt like he travelled so much that I didn't have a partner. Rather than his absence making our sex life or our hearts grow fonder, it seemed to be doing the opposite.

It had been a week since I met him in the club, since I had gone home with him not even knowing his full name and totally given myself to him. It had been two weeks of having my senses tormented, my body trained and my needs fulfilled.

Lena hummed tunelessly to herself as she put away her groceries. Her voluptuously curvy figure, kept in check by four sessions of yoga a week and strict adherence to a healthy diet, was cased in snug denim and a soft knit sweater. Lena tried to keep her kitchen stocked with only healthy foods—whole grains, fruits and veggies, Clif bars. She knew that if she let herself snack on processed food, her toned waist would gradually expand and soften, and she refused to let that happen.

He turned her, nuzzling her neck, his breath warm, his mouth even warmer as he kissed her skin. "You want it, don't you?" he murmured in her ear, his hands sliding down over her breasts, her hips and thighs as he rubbed his crotch against her tight ass. She whimpered, her head falling back to rest on his shoulder.
"Please..." she whispered, shivering as his warm hands played with the hem on her sundress and her body ached with primal need.

I've always adored old quilts airing on clotheslines in the spring of the year and my great Aunt Selina was a proponent of airing her quilts by spreading them on the grass to freshen them up. That is why memories of her came to me just now. Quilts have a special scent when they are placed in the sunshine...and James had placed several in the yard for this afternoon. Not so much for my visual delight, but for my sensual delight...one draped with care over two bales of straw and two upon the green grass on either side of the bales.

Paterson trained the gun firmly on her as she did as she was told. She tied her husband's wrists behind his back, then bound his ankles together, then knotted the two ropes together, leaving him virtually immobile on the bed in his striped pyjamas. Paterson had a minor twinge of conscience - after all, he must be nearer seventy than sixty, and lame, to boot - but, he had been a soldier all his life and, even in the British Army, you don't make brigadier just by going to the right school or joining the right clubs.
