A soft sigh as I stretch in my sleep, a finger coming to rest on my bottom lip. My dreams are filled with images of the sun dappled leaves in the wood and stolen moments with you. Your fingers brushing my hair back from my face, which I raise to catch a kiss. Muted moans of pleasure as your lips touch my throat, a soft laugh as I feel your teeth nipping.

"Whoa, Whoa, who's the new kid?" Betty said turning to the three other ladies seated at the picnic table.
"Billy, he's here to fix whatever goes wrong in this place," said Wendy looking up from her sandwich.
The four ladies ate lunch every day at the picnic table outside the daycare where they all worked. They were all great friends and enjoyed their daily girl-talk even through there wasn't a one of them under the age of forty.

There was a time when I hated... everything. It was the year 3510 when I was dragged into this existence by my twin brother, Devon-literally. The asshole gripped my hands in our mother's womb and dragged me out with him. He's a black haired demon-god... not really, but I like to bother the fuck out of him with that little line all the time. Pisses him off.

Brian raised one eyelid and stared at the alarm clock, 5:32 AM. It was Friday, the beginning of his three day weekend. The dog had thumped into his bedroom door, demanding to be taken out for relief. Brian propped up on one arm and cleared the sleep from his eyes. His wife Allison was still beside him, lying on her back, one breast exposed. He took the time to lightly blow on the exposed nipple, then licked it softly, which brought it to a point. She began to stir but the dog thumped again.

Emma Thrower. The name seemed familiar to me but I couldn't put my finger on the reason why. I was certain I didn't know anybody by that name and I was equally sure that it wasn't the moniker of anybody famous, so why did it seem so familiar?
All of the other names on the list of interviewee's that lay on the desk in front of me were typewritten and accompanied by C.V.'s, but this one had been hand written, an obvious last minute addition and I could find no accompanying notes.

Michael Broderick's attorney had showed him a copy of the suggested ruling that his wife's attorney had provided to the judge hearing their divorce case. "Good God, they can't be serious. I know that this is California, what with the community property rules, but I earned most of my money before I married that witch," He had moaned out when he saw the request for forty-four million dollars.

At 28 years old I hadn't been with a man for three years. The first two years after my husband died, I couldn't bare the thought of another man touching me. I felt like it was cheating. Jake wasn't supposed to die in that car accident. He was supposed to grow old and gray with me. Jake was gone and I knew I had to move on, but acknowledging this didn't make things any easier. Still, at twenty-eight I wasn't willing to spend the rest of my life alone.

There were few things Cara liked more than driving at ridiculous speeds with dance music playing loud, especially after a long and stressful day. And it has been an exceptionally long and stressful day. Normally she went home first but it was after eight by the time she finally left the office, exhausted and yet wired. She had several invitations for drinks but her nerves were raw and shot and a public place was the last thing she wanted.

I had been employed at my new company for just about nine months. Twenty-two, having just gotten out of college, and not finding a job in my field of study, computer software design, I was very glad to be working anywhere. It's a pretty big operation, three large buildings covering twenty acres of property. Manufacturing, that's where I work, R&D, and executive offices are all located here. It employs a huge number of people, and obviously, there is no way to know everyone who might be a co-worker. Therefore, the company holds a large, dinner-dance, once a year for its employees.

It was dark. It was also very stuffy. I've been through so much in who knows how much time and have changed in many ways. I hardly have any meaningful memories of my life before everything began.
I last remember my age as 19. I've not been outside too often, or even seen a watch, or anything else to give me some sense of time. I was swept up, bundled up, dragged off into the abyss... - Or so it felt! I had no family and no friends when I moved to a new town in the hopes of starting a new life.
