Moira was having a hell of a hard time trying to fight her way out of the trouble she was in. She had more or less brought in on herself by her own actions. She had seen the look in his eyes about a year ago, right around the time of his eighteenth birthday. She had actually looked twice to make sure she hadn't misunderstood that gleam.

"Harry, you can't come and get me." I sighed into the phone, while rubbing a clear patch on the fogging window to look at the near white-out conditions. "You're not listening. I'm on a city bus and it's stuck in the snow. This blizzard is the crown jewel in a winter that's like the start of a new ice age."
I waited a minute while my brother ranted. I looked at the posted bus map, following the coloured spaghetti of the routes.

Mother discovered as a model finds lots of fun.I am so excited to tell you my story of fame and fortune. I dreamed of it for most of my life but after marriage, two beautiful daughters and ten extra years I had given it all up. They just don't look for thirty-five year old models.

There were three generations of blondes occupying the table at the food court in the mall I had recently begun to manage.

I am asleep. Then, suddenly, I am awake.
I can feel him. Standing there in the dark corner of the room. I can't see him, I only know he's there. Did he wake me?
It's cold. And I'm naked under the covers. I sit up, thinking maybe I can catch a glimpse of him if I do. But I cannot.

It was her again!
She wasn't the only girl in college with long black hair, and there were probably other girls who were taller and slimmer, so perhaps I could have been mistaken. But there was one characteristic that singled her out from all the other girls - she always wore a catsuit!

Maria knocked loudly on her son's bedroom door. "Matthew? Wake up! You have to get up and get ready for Mass."
Matthew's muffled voice came through the door. "I'm not going to Mass, Mom."
Maria's eyes shot up. We'll just see about that, she thought. She wrapped her fingers around the knob, twisted, and swung open the door.
