"Gimme a little taste," he whispers. I give him an are-you-sure look. The road we are on turns and twists with the coastline; beautiful to look at, treacherous for those types of games. But he's had his hand in my jeans for the last quarter mile. At first he'd had to coax, but he knows just where to touch, and just how to press. Now I was wide open to him, responsive to every touch, deliberate in every returned caress.

"What do you think?" I asked Maria, pirouetting on my toes in front of the full-length mirror in her bedroom.
"Its nice, but I still prefer the Versace," she answered, lounging on her bed.
We had been trying on clothes all afternoon, raiding her mother's and elder sister's wardrobes.
"Would Theresa let me borrow it, do you think?"

Nancy placed a package on Laura's desk just as Laura looked up. Highlighter poised in the air, Laura questioned, "What's this?"
Nancy sighed and rolled her eyes toward the ceiling. "It's a package, Laura. Honestly, how did you become partner?" Laura laughed, turning the box around to read the label.

My husband and I enjoy going to Mardi Gras, now even more so than ever. The first couple of times we attended were in our hometown of Galveston and we enjoyed it a lot, although it is a pretty mild scene compared to Mardi Gras in the "Big Easy".
We saw things that shocked both of us and even though we are not exactly prudes, we didn't really get into a whole lot of the sexual revelry.

A sound outside her office window caused Cindy to jerk her head up. She had been staring blindly at her fingers resting on the black computer keyboard. They weren't moving, but her mind was a blur of thoughts…mostly bad ones. Cindy was temporarily relieved to be back in the real world instead of the illusory place in her head.

"Hey, Danny, come here!"
I drop my book, a ragged old paperback I've read a million times, and head towards my little brother's room. He's several years younger than me, 18 to my 23, and he really looks up to me. It's pretty cute. I've only been home for fall break two days and James has found about every excuse he can to bug me. I head down to his room, which is at the end of the hall from mine, and poke my head in. No James- only some posters (the one of the busty singer in rainbow panties makes me chuckle) and a scattered game system. "James?"

Claire and David were an average couple; just like you and me. They had gotten married almost seven years ago in the late twenties. For the first five years of their marriage, they focused on their careers and finances; saving money to purchase their first home. The day that they moved into the smallish two bedrooms flat in one of the safer and posh areas of London was the day that they threw Claire's birth control pills away. Within three months, they were pregnant.

She smiled as she looked out over the deep blue expanse. Her hair fluttered in the western winds as the ship made a gentle turn. Her smile widened as her sandy brown locks caressed her face, able to do what the wind could not. The gentle spray of a crashing wave misted her face and her eyes closed as the gentle touch was nearly too much.

I got the bug to write this story last night and finished it quickly this morning. I don't use an editor so normally I'll put stories away for a period of time and then pull them back up, read them objectively, and correct errors (there always are some). But lately I've tended to put away unfinished stories for a loooong time before finishing them, or put away finished stories and then later decide to write more. So this time I decided to give it a quick once-over and then publish. I apologize in advance for any problems with spelling, grammar, sentence construction, or continuity.
Happy Summer 2015, y'all.

Betty awakened to the sound of water running in her bathroom. It took her a moment to remember that she hadn't fallen asleep alone. Bill had come to see her that morning.
She was laying on her side, facing away from the bathroom door. Looking out the window, she could see, across the Intracoastal Waterway, the cement tile roofs of Ft. Lauderdale as it stretched all the way to the Everglades.
