I had just finished my Junior Year in College when I was invited by my fiancé Matt to spend a few weeks with his parents at their Beach house on the Jersey shore. I had met his parents a few times and they were both terrific people. His Mom, Brenda, was one of the sweetest women I had ever met. She wasn't typical of Mother-In-Laws since she kept to herself with her opinions. Matt's father, Steve, or Mr. Robinson, was also very nice and was also very handsome.

Chapter 1
Erin wanted this weekend to be special. It was finally her time. Mariah walked out of the office feeling extremely self-conscious. Her family was helping, but it was barely enough to pay the rent and utilities, and she couldn't bring herself to ask for more.

"Hello, Frank."
I turned and smiled. I expected to see at least a couple of my old teachers when I decided to stop by my old high school, but I was still surprised to see Mrs. Ross standing there. What was even more amazing was that she looked just as hot as I remembered.

"Tomorrow's the big day, right Mom?"
"Absolutely, Megan. We need to get these two guys on our side regarding the Bankhead drilling project. They're the last two pieces of the puzzle as far as I'm concerned. You know what to do?"
"Anything they say. Or want," Megan replied.
Amanda smiled. She was the thirty nine year old CEO of GIC Corporation, an energy supplier throughout the northern United States. Their scientists recently discovered an oil and natural gas supply that would keep them in business for decades.

The sound of the bell ringing after third period was a reminder for the four girls to hang back and get their favorite teacher to sign their academic reports so the volleyball coach knew they were okay to play. Letting the other three go before her, she waved as they headed off to fourth period as she held the page out to the teacher. He was, hands down, the hottest teacher on campus, all the students thought so.

I had never felt so lonely in my life as the day I returned to my home after cremating my wife. Suddenly I realised just how much I missed her and had depended on her always being there by my side. I had to be truthful with myself I had taken her for granted, for she never complained, but must have been in extreme pain these last few months until that dreaded 'C' took her away.
