Note: The first story in this 'series' is "Danni Gets Her Wish." You don't really need to read it to understand this one, but I might write more stories that involve previous ones I've written. This story is told from Danni's roommate's perspective.

I got home late Thursday night...exhausted from a long day at school. Luckily tomorrow was a holiday and I had just completed my midterm and turned in all my papers. I had absolutely nothing to do...and was very much looking forward to the three day weekend. It had been a couple weeks since that magical spring break week at the beach house with Ally. I had high expectations for this weekend...perhaps a tryst with Ally.

Amy was the first girl I ever had sex with. I was kind of a shy guy when it came to women, and I really thought sex was something to be shared with someone special. She was a year older than me, but had taken a year off before starting college, so we were in the same class. Amy was girl next door sexy; nice full breasts, milky white skin and great little ass.

I walked into my dorm room and sighed in relief. It smelled like beer, sweat and sex, but at least it was quiet. It was Friday night and my roommate Matt went out earlier with his girlfriend Sandra. They liked to party heavily, especially on the weekend. They also both liked to fuck like rabbits when they got back from a night out and usually they were so drunk they didn't care if they had an audience or not, or more likely, didn't notice. The good news was that they tended to get it over with fast and pass out.

"Shit Joe!" I snapped in angry embarrassment. "How many times do I have to remind you to put a rubber band on the doorknob!"
"Oh wow!" my college roommate cried. "Sorry man!"
"And must you always do it on the rug?" I complained. "Your bed it right there!"
"I like the rug," he replied with a grin.

When I got to college, I was the only freshman in the senior dorm. I had planned to go to another school but at the last minute I changed my mind. Richards Institute where I had originally planned to go had a wonderful fine arts program, which was my field; but I had been accepted at Rodgers University, and when push came to shove I just couldn't give up the opportunity to go to one of the Big League schools. So by the time I decided to go to Rodgers and applied for a room, the freshman dorms were all filled.

One often wonders if their life really has any meaning at all, or if it is just some big cosmic joke where supernatural beings are laughing and pointing at our misfortune, all the while eating a large bucket of overly buttered popcorn and drinking something unnaturally sweet. This thought has often plagued me. Especially when circumstances would lead me to tell the guy I really liked that I liked him after I had hidden it so well, while precautious perched on a tree limb. Yep. I'm fairly positive my very existence is merely for someone else's amusement.

Sophomore year was going to be great. The summer was fun, and while I missed being away from my college friends, I missed being in the city the most. Boston is a great place to go to college and it made suburban Ohio feel like a thousand miles away. I couldn't stay out late, or go to parties because I was still only 19.

College classes are bad enough without falling behind. Between the sheer volume of classes and my work obligations that barely covered my living expenses, it was inevitable that something would give. Biology became the threatened species of my class load.
Mrs. Gail Hannity was my Biology instructor. Smart, precise, and really quite beautiful, it was entirely possible that she was a major contributor to my in-class distraction.

I slipped into my dorm room after my calculus class. Sunlight poured through the blinds in narrow streams that set the ambient dust aglow in the air. Tiny motes of golden light curtained the room, made it hard to see. I stumbled towards my bed, tripping over clothes and shoes.
