Dave and Hannah Montgomery were the type of couple that can inspire hope in the very concept of true love, or tooth decay. Rarely were they apart, though this was not do to any one party being clingy or overbearing. They chose it that way. Though both were in their early thirties and had been married for seven years, it seems that they could read one another's minds like couples that had been together for decades, sometimes finishing one another's sentences.

I hadn't been to a concert in quite a while, so it was special when my wife surprised me for my birthday with tickets to go see one of my favorite bands. The concert was in another city, so she had planned a weekend trip. The band plays heavy metal, so we both dressed accordingly. I dressed in black jeans, a black t-shirt and my leather jacket. Sarah, my wife, looked great in a black t-shirt, black skirt, black stockings and matching boots. I wanted to jump her in the hotel room, but we didn't have the time.

In my infinite quest of surprising you, I call your cell and leave a message for you to meet me at the strip club. I leave explicit instructions that you are not to be late, so in fact have your ass there early. When you arrive, there is a table reserved just for you with a note that says, "See you soon!"
The announcer comes onstage, "We have a new dancer tonight, so please make her feel welcomed. Put your hands together for Angel."

It was my senior year of high school, and my 3rd and final year as a Varsity Cheerleader Team... Rah Rah and all that stuff. There are two things that really come back to me in the way of memories about those times... Jealousy and Competition amongst us... and Road Trips! I'm gonna skip the petty stuff and go for what you guys always ask me about. In this case, I'm gonna tell you about one of the basketball road trips we went on.

The cold wind whipped at me as I walked up the street, Kindle in hand, only vaguely aware of my surroundings.
I had just left the office and was heading back to my car, parked a few blocks away, and beginning to regret not bringing an umbrella as the rain started to fall. Regretfully I closed the Kindle's cover to protect it.

As Larry sat across from the man on the couch, he couldn't believe that he was doing this, or that something like this was possible. He has heard about it through a friend over a week ago, and had spent many long hours on email and the phone to finally arrange this meeting. Bill, the man across from him, leaned forward and looked Larry in the eye.

Chapter One
When I met my wife, Susan, she was a sweet, toe headed girl who seems entirely too nice to be in the bar that I frequented with a group of buddies, we were all there for one reason, get laid. I had gone up to speak with her for just one reason, she just seemed out of place. Out of all the freaks and sluts, I'd met there; she was a shining star in the middle of a dark day, a beacon of innocence.

Gary and Daniella, Dani to most folks, had invited Sue and me to a casual card game and dinner. Two of Gary's younger friends were still there, helping him with the same car that had crushed Gary's legs two months ago. Gary asked them to join us, so they laid a thick 4x8' plywood sheet on the basement Bumper Pool table over some towels to protect the rails. Dani pulled a painter's tarp over the makeshift table and covered it all with a heavy tablecloth.

"Hey Major Christen."
I looked up as I heard my name, and tried not to grin as I saw the two girls waving at me. I was sitting in the BX food court eating an ice cream cone on my lunch break, just relaxing, and I waved back to them. They walked over and I took the time to look at the two of them.

I was away on one of my usual business trips. I had already been away from home 6 days and I had 3 more left to go. I would be getting back on Sunday...missing yet another weekend to have fun. As I was sitting there in my hotel room that night... fiddling around online with my laptop... my cell phone rang. It was the owner of my company. Plans changed and he would not be able to make it out to meet me tomorrow.
