It has been a year today since my life changed drastically. I can remember that day with a vivid recollection that would scare most people. Even I was scared for the longest time, though it was a different kind of scared than most would recognize. I actually went through different levels of being scared. It was truly as if my world was flipped upside down that day.

I am leaving work about fifteen minutes behind everyone else. I got stuck on the phone and missed the mass exodus to the parking garage. I hate walking though the structure in the dark by myself. Even though nothing has ever happened here, I still don't feel safe. The dim lighting and confusing echoes make me nervous. I walk quickly with my head up, clutching my keys tightly in my hand.

Antoinette walked into The Hollow with her puppy, Christopher. Immediately, he took her coat, took his off and handed them to the coat check girl. Antoinette was dressed in a long leather dress, custom made for her generous curves to give her an hourglass figure. The dress was black with red flames licking up from hem to knees; the skirt was split on both sides to mid-thigh, where corset style lacing closed the dress to her armpits.

I breathed on my new chromed nametag and polished it on my sleeve. I had been promoted: Sergeant Lincoln Lovel. I attached it to my blue uniform shirt, checked myself out one more time in the mirror, and walked outside to the police car in my driveway. Life is good. My utility belt gleamed, newly polished; my buttons all glittered; even my service pistol shone like it was gold-plated. And I had sergeant's stripes on my sleeves!

Vincent didn't have to wait too long for her. She was his favorite of them all. He didn't mind the wait too much, he always thought she was worth it.
They came nearly every night, about five of them. He guessed that they were all friends. He didn't mind the others, it was all about her.
She stood about five-four. He couldn't be bothered worrying about her dress size, but she filled out her everyday clothes beautifully.
