Jack twists his head from side to side in a vain attempt to crack his neck. The last college student has finally walked out of his last class of the day and he's looking forward to getting in and out of the office as quickly as possible so he can enjoy the long weekend. Shouldn't be hard to do since it's so late in the afternoon and he'll probably be one of the few left in the suite of offices, much less the building.

Remember how, in high school and college, you kind of separated out into groups of like-minded individuals? Well, that happened to me in college, I just drifted into a group that seemed to have some free time on their hands and just all began hanging around together.
So, why did they have free time? They weren't dating or involved with anyone, our group just coalesced like they say the Solar System began.

I'm one of the lucky ones. I went to work in a really good job right out of college and was in the right place at the right time to be offered an early retirement buyout package when I was fifty-six. Yeah, how about that? And, it was a good package, too good to turn down.

Last weekend, I was the emcee at an outdoor music festival. It was a three day affair with lots of great music. The vibe was very cool and while it was no Woodstock '69, it was certainly a great experience. My job was to bring the acts on and off the stage, stick to the schedule and keep the happy vibe going. As the go-between with the acts and the fans, I had the opportunity to make lots of new friends as well as renew old friendships. It was a most enjoyable experience.
