I shared lodgings in a rental 4 bedroom Victorian house after my initial 1st year in the dorms, I lived with Beth, Ben, James and Mishka.
Beth is my very best friend, I wouldn't call her my lover and I certainly don't own her, but she is my soul-mate and we kiss and play often, snuggle up in each others beds and share everything, especially after a few drinks!

After high school, I enlisted in the Army and did four years as an enlisted man assigned to the Third Army. That made me four years older than the other freshmen at UNC, when I started college after my Army enlistment, but I quickly made three life-long friends. Nora and Adele were roommates. Starting in our sophomore year, Adele and I became lovers. We moved in together. I thought it would last forever but she met a glad-handing football jock in our senior year and I never saw the break-up coming.

Lizzy and I had been an item for two years when we decided that we were going to take our first foreign holiday together and having shopped around we had settled on a two-week break in Cyprus. Friends and family had recommended various places to stay and as a result we had picked a four star hotel in one of the quieter resorts on the island.

Julie watched with detached curiosity as the little drama played out in the park. It was about four o'clock on a balmy, breezy spring afternoon and the ducks and geese were gliding to and fro on the pond, looking for handouts from the park's occasional visitor. Julie wasn't interested in them just now, as her attention was on the young couple on the other side of the pond who seemed to be having a doozy of an argument.
