Remember how, in high school and college, you kind of separated out into groups of like-minded individuals? Well, that happened to me in college, I just drifted into a group that seemed to have some free time on their hands and just all began hanging around together.
So, why did they have free time? They weren't dating or involved with anyone, our group just coalesced like they say the Solar System began.

Katherine stumbled out onto the uneven back stoop, audibly groaning under the weight of the heavy-duty trash bag. It was full of crumbled plaster and strips of wooden lathe and swung ponderously, threatening to pull her over with each uncertain step. As her foot slipped on the sloping stone slab she overcompensated and was forced to let the bag drop with a heavy crunch. Catching herself with a sideways grab at the door frame, she slammed backwards into the peeling paint of the old wood siding.

My wife Sue put herself through college bartending. Her first boss after graduation from college found this out and has hired Sue to bartend a variety of parties over the last few years. She has done anniversary parties as well as birthday parties, etc. Tony has always paid in cash and has been very generous. Sue loves the work and the extra money doesn't hurt.
