"YOU PRICK! YOU FUCKING PRICK!!!"
Kaylee stood frozen in the bedroom door. Her arms were rigid at her side; her fists were clenched as she watched her sister dive off of Kaylee's fiancé's rapidly deflating cock. He laid there, too shocked to move, while her sister tried to hide beneath the sheets.

It's Wednesday morning and I wake up early. It's the one day of the week I stay home and look after our toddler. Carrie is working part time, keeping in touch with her job as an academic so she can take up full time work again in a couple of years. Our little one goes to crèche two and a half days a week and I (being a sensitive new age guy) take care of her on Wednesdays. That way Carrie gets three days a week at the university.

Mike lowered his binoculars and pushed the throttle forward to the maximum. It would be an exaggeration to say his battered cabin cruiser surged ahead. A large cloud of black smoke and a backfire burst from the exhaust, the ancient hull vibrated, slowly the revs mounted and the inappropriately named "Queen of the Waves" lurched and protested as the speed built up to 15 knots.

Anton didn't mind the economic recession. Sure the revenues from his companies were down, but only slightly. It struck him as strange that in these difficult times the public would sacrifice a lot, but not their habit for porn. His business was still profitable and he had healthy reserves in his bank accounts.

"The ocean is so beautiful. I wish I could stay out here all night." Cadence said, snuggling closer to her man. She sat and watched as the beautiful sunset was slowly dipping below the horizon. To her right the lifeguard was closing shop in his hut, leaving them alone on the beach. Most of the other people had already left; on occasion a couple would walk by, completely absorbed in each other.

It's a warm spring morning and I'm sitting with my husband in the patio area of a local coffee shop. The warm air feels wonderful and we sit in a quiet silence reading different sections of the newspaper and snacking on coffee and scones. It's quiet except for the occasional bird singing or car driving past. We're comfortable - comfortable in with our meal, in our surroundings, with our middle age status in life, and in our marriage. Maybe we're a little too comfortable.

"Jeremy, I think you'll like our latest acquisition. You know her. Or you should. You went to school together." The boss sat on the corner of the desk and watched Jeremy for a reaction. When Jeremy only arched an eyebrow, the boss shifted slightly, disappointed and continued, "Sara Ann Birdsdale."
Jeremy smiled but forced his body to remain in the same casual pose. He couldn't count her as the one who got away because she was never his to begin with. But he remembered her. Smart and a goody two shoes.

My alarm startled me awake, even though the only sound it made was the gentle vibration of my cell phone against my nightstand. It seemed every morning promptly at 9:15 I went through this ritual when it went off, causing me to nearly jump out of my skin. I reached over for the little button on the side, stopping the noise and rolled back over, snuggling deeper into the warm blankets. I heard the covers rustle slightly, and then I felt a single finger tracing patterns on the bare skin of my back.

A couple of months ago my brother and I went to Houston on business. We are both in security and try to travel together whenever we can as we are also very good friends. It gives us a chance to get away from the day to day grind of our jobs and him a chance to get away from his wife and kids. He loves them to death, but everyone needs a break from time to time.

"Micah."
I groaned slightly at the sound.
"Micah, wake up," a voice sang to me.
I groaned again, louder this time.
"Micah, babe, you can't stay asleep all day," the sing-song voice chided me, "you have to wake up now."
"It's Sunday," I mumbled in protest.
