My Birthday treat......
It was my 35th birthday, and my wife Mary had promised me a night out on the town. While I was on the golf course with her blessing, she spent the day at work.
I came home looking forward to a hot shower and a glass of wine with Mary before we went out.

The heat was almost unbearable in South Georgia last July, when my wife and I were there for her brother's wedding. The temperature was in the mid nineties by lunch time, and I was wishing she hadn't volunteered us to be the child care while all the other females in the family went to a bride's lunch. Apparently, my wife, Paige, would rather entertain 6 kids than go to a stuffy lunch at the country club.

I met Caitlin in a night club when we were both aged nineteen. We quickly fell madly in love with each other and within three months we had set up our first home together. Life was great to start with; we were young, in love and could not get enough of each other.
However as we shared our lives together we slowly began to have our differences, and our relationship deteriated from the perfect start to one where after eighteen months together we came to the mutual decision that it was best to break up and go our separate ways.

My good friends Matt and his wife Megan invited me over for dinner on Saturday. My wife was out of town on a trip to London for four weeks, so our usual get-togethers were out of sync. I brought over some of my favorite wine, and they also had wine ready, as usual.
Matt is tall and lean, with a beard, mustache, and long hair. Megan is slender, medium height, long dark hair, and a narrow face.

Mother in laws come in many shapes and sizes, and mine [ of some 3 months standing ] had a very voluptuous shape, a good nature, a sense of fun, was tall, slim, and in her early forties. My wife had hinted as to her having a roving eye and perhaps some affairs & not without the knowledge of her dad. He was Ron, a senior civil servant who was often away from their home in London.
