"Shit!" was all I could come up with.
Here it was the end of the friggin' night and I had to go take another stupid report for a lost or stolen ID. That's what junior guys are for, dammit! I quickly realized though that if anyone else were available they'd not be sending me because, on top of the fact I was top guy (oldest prick) on our crew, I also garnered top pay for OT when I get stuck, and giving me OT would be avoided if at all possible, so I knew everyone else had to be tied-up and I just sucked it up and headed to the address they gave me in the radio dispatch. The address sounded vaguely familiar too.

I had just gotten home, trying to unwind from a trying day, when the doorbell rang. I opened the door to two men. One was tall, suave and polished. He was dressed to perfection, creased and pressed. Not a hair out of place, not a move that wasn't smooth and efficient. He didn't do a thing for me. He was too perfect, too practiced, and too straight. But the other guy, well, he gave me an immediate temperature rise, plus a rise in other areas.

It started out as normal day. I woke up at 6:30am, and finally rolled out of bed at 7:00. I got a shower, got dressed, and headed out the door for school. I was running late as usual. I had a 45 minute commute to the university I was attending, but only had 35 minutes before my class started. I live in a very small town, and had to take back roads to school.
