"Come out," Maddy had said.
"It'll be fun," Tiff had said.
"It'll be good for you," Amber had added.
"You have to get out of that dark dungeon of despair you've condemned yourself too," I had said to myself.

“I never get to do anything exciting anymore,” I grumbled. “Between college and work, I never even go out. And my job is so incredibly boring. Sometimes when I’m sitting there waiting for the phone to ring, I just want to do something depraved – tear off the stupid, prissy clothes I have to wear and go running into the senior partner’s office screaming or something.”

I shared lodgings in a rental 4 bedroom Victorian house after my initial 1st year in the dorms, I lived with Beth, Ben, James and Mishka.
Beth is my very best friend, I wouldn't call her my lover and I certainly don't own her, but she is my soul-mate and we kiss and play often, snuggle up in each others beds and share everything, especially after a few drinks!

Susan was watching David through the bay window of the bedroom in her upmarket house. She knew that he could not see her because of the lace curtains in front of the window. David had been working for them for about four years now, he had started as a scruffy fourteen year old earning extra pocket money working in the garden. Susan was noticing more and more how he was no longer a scruffy fourteen year old but had filled out into a well built young man with dark curls and blue eyes that looked right through her whenever she was in the garden to give him his instructions on what she wanted him to do for the day.

She got into the hotel elevator on the 7th floor, wearing nothing a swimsuit with a towel around her waist, at the same time I got out, and I knew I had to follow her.
There was no doubt it was the same woman I'd noticed that morning as I'd left for the conference, leaving room 713 just after I'd walked out of 717. She'd had on a perfectly smooth pencil skirt over black hose or stockings, a matching jacket, three-inch heels, and a white blouse--the kind of business attire that drives me to distraction every single time.

I picked up the buzzing phone absentmindedly, my thoughts on the contract before me.
"Ms. Benton." I was so distracted I didn't realize it was on my private line.
"Hi Aunt Becky, it's Cheryl. I hope I haven't called at an inconvenient time."
"Well, hello you sweet young lady. It's always nice to hear your voice, you are not interrupting and even if you were, I'd always take your call. What are you doing these days?"

"Mother, I'm too fat to go clothes shopping! I need to lose ten pounds first, please?" Angelica was in full teenage whining mood, again. This was normal for the girl but in contrast to many parents who would have been driven mad by it, her mother smiled serenely and disagreed.

She pulled into the driveway. It had been a long day. Longer still because he hadn't remembered. Turning off the car, she sighed. He had always been so attentive. So thoughtful. How could he have forgotten? She leaned against the steering wheel, remembering their first conversation.
