Jessica pulled into the Mall parking lot and always parked as close to the handicap parking spaces as she could. She got lucky today and found a space right next to one. She always liked to either sit and watch them or walk by as someone was getting out of their car. Someone had just pulled into the HC spot just before her so she sat for a few minutes to see what would happen.

Robert had been invited to a party by a mutual friend of Anne Simpson. He was intrigued and went because the party didn't sound like the typical party for the people that he usually hung with. This one was a costume party for one thing. There was the opportunity to meet different people than the normal crowd for another. Robert had also been told that Anne herself was an attractive and available lady and he was always looking for his soul mate.

Alexis Morgen stared at the woman in the bathroom mirror. Not bad for nearly 50, she thought. Not bad at all. Virtually no facial wrinkles and creamy skin made her look a good bit younger than she was. Her auburn hair was shoulder-length and turned up in a curl. Her startling green eyes looked slightly sad until she smiled. At this realization she pursed her lips into the thin smile an old flame had once described as her "Mona Lisa" smile. Alexis applied a little more lipstick, brushed her hair, and gave one more approving glance into the mirror.
